“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:4)
The tenth chapter of the Gospel of John describes the deep sacrificial relationship that Jesus has with His people. He pictures Himself metaphorically as the Good Shepherd who gives His life for the sheep, and who then watches over them, protects them against the thieves and robbers, and leads them by His voice into the abundant life that He promises to all who will follow Him.
Our ability to follow Him, to experience the security of being in His will, and to enjoy the “life” of His presence depends upon hearing His voice. According to His own promise, His voice is always available to His sheep, those who have set their heart to know Him and obey His commandments and leadings.
This booklet will describe some important facts and keys to knowing when and how He speaks to us.
